SWAIAP Certification program for Internal Auditors
Please for clarity purpose, below are our new certification fees as follows:
Fellow West African Internal Auditor (FWAIA)
FWAIA ALTERNATIVE 1: Access to live online training and training materials
This membership category is for the most senior professional members, no exams are required. However, there will be refresher courses involving three Streams training followed by an award of fellow certificate (FWAIA). Thereafter, members are required to achieve a minimum CPE credit of 14.4 per annum by attending a minimum of 25% of our annual webinar workshops.
Your financial obligations are follows:
(i ) Membership registration fee – 25,000 or USD 35
(ii ) Stream 1 training Fee (including certification, induction materials and entertainment) – N150,000 or USD 160
(iii ) Stream 2 training fee – N40,000 or USD 45
(iv) Stream 3 training fee – N40,000 or USD 45
Total= 25,000+150,000+40,000+40,000= N255,000 or
USD 35+160+45+45 = USD 285
All Streams fees are payable by installments within the period before induction.
FWAIA ALTERNATIVE 2
Those who wants buy study materials without live training will pay the following fees:
FWAIA fee:
(i) Membership Registration fee – 25,000 or USD 35
(ii) Stream 1 Training Kits – N25,000 or USD 35
(iii) Stream 2 Training Kits – N25,000 or USD 35
(iv) Stream 3 Training Kits – N25,000 or USD 35
(v )Certification & Induction fees – N85,000 or USD 65
Total = 25,000+75,000+85,000= N185,000 or
USD 35+35+35+35+65 = USD 235

Certified West African Internal Auditor (CWAIA)
CWAIA ALTERNATIVE 1
Note that CWAIA program is the final professional certification program of Society for West African Internal Audit Practitioners (SWAIAP).
The certification program, runs a syllabus training of three Streams, commencing March 1st 2024 through November 2024.
Your financial obligations are follows:
(i ) Membership registration fee – 20k or USD 30
(ii ) Stream 1 training Fee (including certification exams, induction materials and entertainment) – 165,000 or USD 165
(iii ) Stream 2 training fee – 40k or USD 45
4. Stream 3 training fee – 40k or USD 45
Total= 20,000+165,000+40,000+40,000=265,000 or USD 30+165+45+45 = USD 285
Each Stream fee is payable by instalments within the period leading to induction.
CWAIA ALTERNATIVE 2
Those who wants buy study materials without live training will pay the following fees:
(i) Membership Registration fee – N20,000 or USD 30
(ii) Exams materials fee – N30,000 per Stream (X3) = N90,000
(iii ) Certification and induction fees – N85,000 or USD 85
Total = N195,000 or USD 195
This will involve three (3) Streams Exams materials. If candidate passes the three Streams, it will lead to the award of Certified West African Internal Auditor (CWAIA) certification and subsequent induction.
NB: All fees are payable by installments.
CWAIA ALTERNATIVE 3
Those who wants to use the syllabus and study on their own, will pay a certification and induction fee of N100,000 or USD 120 flat rate for all categories.
This will also involve three (3) Streams of Exams. If candidate passes the three Streams exams, it will lead to the award of Certified West African Internal Auditor (CWAIA) certification and subsequent induction.

Associate West African Internal Auditor (AWAIA)

AWAIA ALTERNATIVE 1
This is first level professional certification and will involve three (3) Streams certification training with professional exams at the end of each Stream. This will lead to the award of Associate West African Internal Auditor (AWAIA) certification and subsequent induction.
Your financial obligations are as follows:
(i ) Membership registration fee – N15,000 or USD20
(ii ) Stream 1 training Fee (including certification, induction materials and entertainment) – N130,000 or USD 130
(iii ) Stream 2 training fee – N40,000 or USD 45
(iv) Stream 3 training fee – N40,000 or USD 35
Total= 15,000+130,000+40,000+40,000=N225,000 or
USD 20+130+45+45= USD 240
All Streams fees are payable by installments within the period before induction.
AWAIA ALTERNATIVE 2
Those who wants buy study materials without live training will pay the following fees:
(i) Membership Registration fee – N15,000 or USD 20
(ii) Exams materials fee – N25,000 per Stream (X3) – N75,000 or USD 75
(iii ) Certification and induction fees – N55,000 or USD 55
Total N145,000 or USD 150
This will involve three (3) Streams Exams materials. If candidate passes the three Streams, it will lead to the award of Associate West African Internal Auditor (AWAIA) certification and subsequent induction.

AWAIA ALTERNATIVE 3
Those who wants to use the syllabus and study on their own, will pay a certification and induction fee of N100,000 or USD 120 flat rate for all categories.
This will also involve three (3) Streams Exams. If candidate passes the three Streams exams, it will lead to the award of Associate West African Internal Auditor (AWAIA) certification and subsequent induction.

Student Technician of West African Internal Auditors (STWAIA)
Student Technician of West African Internal Auditors (STWAIA)
This is a pre-professional level certification and will involve three Streams of training (three months each) leading to the award of STWAIA. The completion of STWAIA program, automatically qualifies you to enroll for Associate West African Internal Auditor (AWAIA).
Your financial obligations are follows:
1. Membership registration fee – NG 7,500 or USD 10
2. Stream 1 training Fee (including training, certification exams and induction fees- N50,000 or USD 50
3. Stream 2 training fee – N15,000 or USD 20
4. Stream 3 training fee – N15,000 or USD 20
Total= 7,500+50,000+15,000+15,000=87,500 or USD 100
All Streams fees are payable by installments within the period prior to induction.
